The app will disappear from both the stores in August 2020. This was confirmed by Google in September 2020 that they have removed the Google Play Music from their services. They started discontinuing the Google Play Music service from New Zealand then it was removed in South Africa. In October 2020 the Google Play Music service was completely removed from the App Store and Play Store.

YouTube is updated by Google and there are many new features that have been added to YouTube Music. YouTube music services are free to use and there is also a premium subscription which you can take to enjoy some additional benefits. You can transfer your Google Play Music library to YouTube Music by following the steps given below:

Step 1: You need to first download the YouTube Music application.

Step 2: After downloading the app you need to open the YouTube Music app.

Step 3: Go to the YouTube Music profile and tap on Settings.

Step 4: There you will find a Transfer option. Tap on the Transfer option. This will start transferring all your music history, playlist and also the paid content which you have from your Google Play Music to your YouTube Music account.

Step 5: After the completion of the transfer procedure you will be notified about it through mail and a notification on your YouTube Music application.

If you don’t have the YouTube Music application then you can directly go to the official page of YouTube Music and transfer the library by logging in to your account.

· Purchased content

· Albums

· Your liked songs

· Your music history
